Quisera Senhor, neste Natal armar uma árvore dentro do meu coração e nela pendurar, em vez de presentes os nomes de todos os meus amigos.
Os antigos e os mais recentes. Aqueles que vejo a cada dia e os que raramente encontro.
Os sempre lembrados e os que às vezes ficam esquecidos. Os constantes e os intermitentes. Os das horas difíceis e os das horas alegres. Os que sem querer eu magoei, ou sem querer me magoaram. Aqueles a quem conheço profundamente e aqueles a quem conheço apenas as aparências.
Os que pouco me devem e aqueles a quem muito devo. Meus amigos humildes e meus amigos importantes. Os nomes de todos que já passaram por minha vida.
Uma árvore de raiz muito profunda para que seus nomes nunca mais sejam arrancados do meu coração. De ramos muito extensos, para que novos nomes vindos de todas as partes venham juntar-se aos existentes. De luzes muito agradáveis para que nossa amizade seja um aumento de repouso nas
lutas da vida.
Que o Natal esteja vivo em cada dia do ano que se inicia, para que possamos viver juntos o amor do Creador.

It wants Sir, in this Christmas to set a tree inside of my heart and in it to hang, instead of gifts the names of all my friends. Old and the most recent ones. Those that I see to each day and the ones that rare meeting. Always remembered and the ones that to the times are forgotten. The constants and the intermittent ones. Of the difficult hours and of the glad hours. The ones that without wanting I magoei, or magoaram wanting me. Those to who I know deeply and those to who I know only the appearances. The ones that must me to little and those to who very I must. My humble friends and my important friends. The names of that already they had passed for my life. A tree of very deep root so that its names never more are pulled out of my heart. Of very extensive branches, so that new names come of all the parts come to join it the existing ones. Of very pleasant lights so that our friendship is an increase of rest in fights of the life. That the Christmas is alive in each day of the year that if it initiates, so that let us can live together the love of the Creador.
